Jensen Buchanan has played the role of Vicky Hudson on Another World since 1994. She played the role until June 1999 when Another World went off the air. At that time the character moved to Oakdale, the fictional town in As The World Turns. Jensen studied at Boston University's School of Fine Arts, Boston University Theater Institute, and the Circle in the Square Professional Workshop in New York. At BU she majored in music with a concentration in opera. Her theatre credits include The Gondoliers, The Sound of Music, They're Playing Our Song, Pippin, and Babes in Toyland. Jensen was born July 16, 1961 in Montgomery Alabama.
She was raised in Neenah, Wisconsin. Currently Jensen lives in Vermont where she likes to play the piano and tennis. Jensen and her husband, Gray O'Brien, were married on December 28, 1991. Together they have two sons. Their names are John Conor O'Brien (born on 4/24/94) and Angus O'Hagan O'Brien (born on 2/26/96). Her husband is a physical therapist.

On Another World Vicky's mother was Donna Love and her father was Michael Hudson. Marley Love is her sister. Nick Hudson is her half brother. She was married to Jamie Frame and had a son Steven from that marriage. She was then married to Grant Harrison and had a son Kirkland from that marriage. She was then married to Jake McKinnon. She and Ryan Harrison were lovers. She is now back together with Jake McKinnon. The role of Vicky Hudson was formerly played by Ellen Wheeler, Rhonda Lewin and Anne Heche.
